Refund and Cancellation Policy1. General ProvisionsThis Policy describes the rules for canceling lessons and issuing refunds for services provided by the "DoubleLang" online school, IE Denis Sulavko. By paying for the lessons, the Student agrees to the rules outlined below.
2. Rescheduling and Cancellation by the Student- The Student has the right to reschedule or cancel an individual lesson without losing funds no later than 24 hours before its scheduled start time.
- In the event of a lesson cancellation or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance, the lesson is considered conducted and is deducted from the Student’s balance in full.
- If the Student is late for the lesson, the lesson time is not extended. If the Student does not connect within 15 minutes from the start of the lesson, the teacher has the right to stop waiting, and the lesson is considered conducted and is subject to payment.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellation by the Teacher- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the teacher or school administration has the right to cancel or reschedule a lesson by notifying the Student in advance. In this case, the lesson remains on the Student’s balance and is rescheduled to another time convenient for them.
4. Refunds for Unused Lessons (Lesson Packages)- If the Student has purchased a package of lessons but, for any reason, decides to stop studying, they have the right to request a refund for unused lessons within 14 days.
- How the refund amount is calculated: The refund amount is calculated using the following formula: [Amount paid for the package] minus [Number of conducted lessons x Cost of a single lesson outside the package].
- Note: Package discounts are voided upon early termination, and already conducted lessons are recalculated at the base single-lesson rate.
- Funds for already conducted lessons are non-refundable.
- The validity period of any lesson package is 6 months from the date of payment. After this period, unused lessons expire, and the funds for them are not refundable.
5. Refund Procedure- To request a refund, the Student must send an email to info@doublelang-online-school.com specifying their full name, the email address linked to the account, and the reason for the refund request.
- The School reviews the refund request within 3−5 business days.
- An approved refund is issued to the same bank card or account from which the original payment was made. The timeframe for the funds to be credited depends on the issuing bank and the payment system (typically 5 to 14 business days).
6. Payment Partner (Merchant of Record)Processing of payments and refunds is carried out through our authorized partner, the
Paddle service. In the event of a refund, the funds will be returned through the Paddle system to your original payment method.
